- Local Storage: Your task data, streak information, and timer history are primarily stored on your device. This ensures your privacy and gives you complete control over your information.
- No Cloud Storage: DopamineDash does not store your tasks on our servers unless you opt in to cloud features (if available in future updates).
- Encryption: We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.
- No Selling or Sharing: We never sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or commercial purposes.
- Minimal Data Collection: We collect only the minimum data necessary to provide and improve our dopamine-friendly task management service.
4. Subscription and Payment Information
- Apple App Store Payments: DopamineDash Premium subscription payments ($2.99 weekly, $9.99 monthly, $49.99 yearly) are processed through Apple's in-app purchase system. Apple handles all payment processing, billing, and subscription management.
- No Direct Payment Processing: DopamineDash does not collect, store, or process credit card information directly.
- Subscription Data: Your subscription status is used to determine which features you have access to within the app (unlimited tasks, custom categories, etc.).
- Apple Privacy: Please refer to Apple's privacy policy for information on how your payment information is protected.
5. Your Rights and Choices
You have the following rights regarding your data:
- Access: You can access all your task data, streak information, and timer history within the app at any time.
- Delete: You can delete individual tasks, categories, or your entire account. To delete your account and all associated data, email support@dopaminedash.app with "Account Deletion Request" as the subject.
- Opt-Out: You can opt out of analytics collection by disabling it in your app settings.
- Do Not Track: If your device has a "Do Not Track" setting, DopamineDash respects this preference.
- Notification Control: You can manage notification preferences directly in your device settings and within the app.
6. Children's Privacy
DopamineDash is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will immediately delete such information.
