Welcome to DopamineDash ("we," "us," "our," or the "Company"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legal agreement between you and DopamineDash regarding your access to and use of our dopamine-friendly task management mobile application and related services (the "Service"). By downloading, installing, or using DopamineDash, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

1. Service Description

DopamineDash is a dopamine-friendly task management and productivity application designed to help users build momentum through quick wins. The Service includes:

Quick task creation (2, 5, 10, 15, or 30-minute tasks)
Task organization with categories and priorities
Daily reminders and notifications
Streak tracking and progress monitoring
Focus timer with haptic feedback
Premium features (available via in-app purchase)

2. Age and Eligibility

DopamineDash is not intended for users under 13 years of age. By using this Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 13 years old (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) and have the legal authority to enter into this agreement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have obtained parental or guardian consent.

3. User Responsibilities and Conduct

When using DopamineDash, you agree to:

Lawful Use: Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe upon the rights of others or restrict their use and enjoyment of the Service.
Accurate Information: Provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
Prohibited Conduct: You may not use the Service to:
- Harass, threaten, defame, or abuse others
- Transmit malware or harmful code
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts
- Interfere with the normal operation of the Service
- Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Free and Premium Versions

Free Version: The free version of DopamineDash includes basic task management features with a limit of 3 tasks per day to help users focus on quick wins and build momentum.

Premium Version: DopamineDash Premium is available through an in-app subscription and includes:

Unlimited tasks per day
Unlimited custom categories with custom icons
Advanced analytics and progress insights
Task scheduling and recurring tasks
Custom themes and personalization
Priority customer support
Early access to new features

5. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

Payment Processing: All in-app purchases and subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store. Payment is made through your Apple ID account.
Subscription Plans: We offer Weekly ($2.99), Monthly ($9.99), and Yearly ($49.99) subscription options. All subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled.
Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time through your device's App Store settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle.
Refunds: Refund requests must be directed to Apple. Please visit Apple's support page for information on requesting refunds.
Free Trial: If a free trial is offered, it will expire at the end of the trial period, and your account will be automatically charged at the prevailing subscription rate unless you cancel before the trial expires.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

App Ownership: DopamineDash, including all code, design, features, and functionality, is owned by DopamineDash and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
License Grant: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use DopamineDash solely for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
Your Content: You retain full ownership and control of all tasks and content you create within the app ("Your Content"). You grant DopamineDash a license to store, process, and use Your Content solely to provide the Service to you.
Restrictions: You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of DopamineDash. You may not modify, translate, or create derivative works of the Service.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Disclaimer of Warranties: DopamineDash is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the Service. We do not warrant that:

The Service will meet your requirements
The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
Any defects in the Service will be corrected
The Service is free from viruses or other harmful components

Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, DopamineDash shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Maximum Liability: Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the past twelve months, or $100, whichever is less.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to DopamineDash at any time, with or without cause, and without notice. Reasons for termination may include:

Violation of these Terms
Engagement in illegal activity
Conduct that harms other users
Nonpayment of fees (if applicable)
Technical or operational reasons

Upon termination, your right to access and use the Service ceases immediately. Your task data may be deleted in accordance with our data retention policies.

9. Changes to Terms and Service

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to the app or website. Your continued use of DopamineDash following the posting of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. We may also modify or discontinue the Service or any features thereof at any time.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless DopamineDash and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of:

Your use of the Service
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any applicable law or regulation
Your violation of the rights of any third party

11. Third-Party Content and Services

DopamineDash may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of these external sites. Your use of third-party services is governed by their terms and privacy policies.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

14. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved by binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules, rather than in court. You agree to waive your right to a jury trial.

16. Entire Agreement
